So, I recently had the chance to experience the Matina Lounge at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 1. It is located Airside – East Wing. After Passport Control, take the escalator opposite Gate 11 to the 4th Floor. Follow signs ‘Transit Hotel’ to where the lounge is located.
So if you want to escape the chaos of the main terminal as soon as you clear customs, this might not be the best choice. I visited around 8 PM and found it quite crowded.
Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. I mean, they had everything. Hot and cold beverages, snacks, light meals… I even saw some fruit. And it was all delicious. I’m not usually a fan of Priority Pass Lounges food, but this was a pleasant surprise.
There’s also plenty of comfortable seating, both individual chairs and couches, so you can really relax and unwind. And let’s not forget the free Wi-Fi, which is always a lifesaver when you’re traveling.
The Matina Lounge is a good option for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to relax at Incheon Airport. While it can get noisy during peak times, it’s generally a pleasant experience. Just be prepared for potential crowds, especially if you’re visiting in the evening.
