Hotel Review: Sheraton Petaling Jaya

Date:

Located just a few kilometres away from my previously reviewed Le Meridien Petaling Jaya is the only other Marriott property in this satelite city of Kuala Lumpur – the Sheraton Petaling Jaya. Although this hotel is not the most convenient for anyone without a car or a traveller reliant on public transportation, this property is probably the most luxurious in the area.

Although the drop off is on the ground floor, all guests are directed to the main lobby on the thrid floor to check-in. The main lobby and in fact, many parts of the hotel, exudes a very “St Regis” feel to it.

It was a very pleasant surprise when I was told that I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite for my weeklong stay.

The hotel had an above average fitness centre and a rooftop pool with views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline in the distance.

Breakfast at the main restauarnt, Feast, was quite an elaborate affair.

The highlight of my stay was the rather quiet and peaceful ambience of the Sheraton Club.
