Lounge Review: Travel Club Lounge, Kota Kinabalu International Airport

Date:

Although Kota Kinabalu International Airport has been Malaysia’s second busiest airport in the country for many years and caters for many international flights (albeit mainly low cost carriers), the international departure level has been devoid of a lounge for the longest time. Many years ago, there was a Plaza Premium Lounge but that closed down during Covid and was never reopened. Travel Club Lounge has very recently opened up a lounge on the international departures level and is surely a very welcome addition to the very limited food and beverage options available there. Whilst this lounge accepts DragonPass holders, it does not accept Priority Pass which is odd because the domestic lounge literally just below it, has been accepting Priority Pass for the longest time!

This lounge offers a variety of comfortable seating options and a decent spread of food and beverage, however lacks any internal restroom facilities.
