Kyra Lounge HK Airport

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) welcomed a fresh and luxurious addition on July 2, 2024 with the grand opening of Kyra Lounge. Priority Pass members will be delighted to know that this lounge is also part of the network.

Located in the heart of Terminal 1, near Gate 23, Kyra Lounge offers a serene escape from the airport’s bustling atmosphere. Spanning 744 square meters, the lounge can accommodate over 150 guests, providing ample space to relax and recharge before a flight.

A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Luxury

Designed to evoke the tranquility of nature, Kyra Lounge features a stunning interior that blends natural light with sophisticated design elements. The space is divided into various zones, each offering a unique ambiance to cater to different traveler needs.

The lounge’s signature design elements include:

  • Crepuscular Rays: Dynamic lighting that mimics the sun breaking through clouds.
  • Waves: A wave-like ceiling feature that evokes the ocean’s movement.
  • Bar: The well-stocked bar features an impressive selection of premium spirits, wines, beers, and signature cocktails.

Food ranging from classic Cantonese dim sum to Western-inspired comfort food.

The toilet was quite impressive.

Hong Kong Airport already has a variety of lounges, particularly strong options for Oneworld alliance members due to Cathay Pacific and Qantas.

Additionally, high-end travelers have the American Express Centurion Lounge. For a more casual experience, there’s the stylish Intervals bar, and for complete seclusion, the exclusive VIP Lounge.

Cathay Pacific is also planning new lounges as the airport expands. Despite this impressive selection, Kyra, a newly opened exclusive lounge, has joined the competition in the space previously occupied by Cathay Pacific’s The Cabin lounge.
