This is one of Hilton’s larger hotels in Asia and with over 800 rooms, one could be forgiven to think that they would be just a number when staying here. However, this is definitely not the case because the Hilton Tokyo has an amazing team of staff members who are beyond well trained to provide the utmost in hospitality in the Japanese capital, Tokyo!
Hilton Tokyo is undoubtedly an older hotel so there are signs of wear and age, but that doesn’t really matter when you are made to feel like you are the only guest in the hotel. It truly amazes me when a staff greets you by name after only one interaction especially when they come into contact with thousands of guests every day.
The lobby is a very busy place and is also where the main restaurant is located. There is a cake shop within the lobby for quick bites too. The hotel is connected via an underground walkway to the train/subway station.
We were upgraded to a Premium King room for this stay and the size of the room did not disappoint.
The Executive Lounge on the top floor is an excellent to unwind after a long day at work or exploring the many sights of Tokyo.
Breakfast at the main restaurant is always busy but again the servers are extremely efficient at what they do.
This hotel is also one of the few selected hotels in Tokyo that has direct connections to the airport via the Airport Limousine Bus service. This gives an option to travelers who have larger or many suitcases to go door-to-door and not have to worry about taking them on the trains. The hotel also operates a very frequent shuttle service to Shinjuku station where guests can shop or take the trains to anywhere! Talk about convenience!
