Hotel Review: Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Yokohama

This very busy hotel is located right across from JR Yokohama Station and is directly connected via an underground walkway. Unparalleled convenience for any traveler that needs to be in Yokohama!

A very impressive atrium awaits as soon as you enter the lobby doors! Despite this being quite a large and busy hotel, the reception feels a little small but they seem to have a team of very well trained staff so there is never too long a wait to be attended to.

It was rather disappointing that there were upgrades available but the entry level King room was comfortable enough. It is showing its age but nonetheless, was very well kept and definitely very clean.

On the first morning of our stay, we had breakfast at Club Lounge which accorded some fantastic views of the Tokyo skyline in the far distance.

Later in the evening, we returned to the Club Lounge for the evening cocktail hour. We were impressed!

Breakfast at the main restaurant is a not to be missed affair! It is a themed affair and the range was nothing short of fantastic. It does get very busy in the earlier hours of the morning but whilst we were there, it was simply perfect.

Flight Review: CX439 Airbus 321NEO New Business Class ICN-HKG

Flew Cathay Pacific's new business class on their A321Neo (adorable "mini racoon" nickname?). Huge upgrade from their older domestic seats! The wider, comfy seats impressed me. But the star was the recline. Unlike some airlines (think budget carriers), it wasn't just a footrest and lean back. This seat reclined like a rocking chair, distributing weight evenly and giving great back support – perfect for shorter flights!
