Hotel Review: Anara Airport Hotel Terminal 3, Jakarta International Airport

UPDATED: 8 August 2023

My AirAsia flight from Bali arrived at Terminal 1 so I was fortunate enough to check out the skytrain system that was just completed a couple of years before Covid hit the world. It has been a while since my last trip to this metropolis and this skytrain system was quite impressive and efficient.

Upon arrival at the Terminal 3 station, it was a 5 minute undercover walk to the hotel. Do not follow the signs pointing to Anara Hotel. Instead, take the lift of escalator to the Departure hall. Then look for signs toward Anara Hotel. There’s a door at one end of the Departure hall where it will bring you to the hotel directly. The lobby looked exactly like the photos on their website and the staff at the hotel could not be more welcoming and efficient!

Their rooms did not disappoint too and was well furnished and most importantly, spotlessly clean.

All in all, this is the perfect hotel to spend the night if you have an early flight the next morning as it is directly connected to the terminal building. Perhaps the best part of my stay was the view from my room!

Breakfast

The breakfast spread wasn’t too bad. It was well layout and presented.

Flight Review: CX439 Airbus 321NEO New Business Class ICN-HKG

Flew Cathay Pacific's new business class on their A321Neo (adorable "mini racoon" nickname?). Huge upgrade from their older domestic seats! The wider, comfy seats impressed me. But the star was the recline. Unlike some airlines (think budget carriers), it wasn't just a footrest and lean back. This seat reclined like a rocking chair, distributing weight evenly and giving great back support – perfect for shorter flights!
