Hotel Review: Millennium Hilton Seoul

Date:

Sarangheyo! That means ‘love’ in Korean, and it did not take me long to fall in love with this work of art at the front of the Millennium Seoul Hilton.

Located at the foot of Namsam, it is strategically located in the CBD of Seoul. It probably better caters to business executives than the leisure traveler, because of its proximity to the thousands of corporate offices in the area but I had no complaints because getting around the city was just that easy! In fact, I did not need the gym despite pigging out because I probably would have burned off all those extra calories just taking this back route from the station back to the hotel. Climbing this set of stairs was no easy feat!

This hotel does show its age in some areas but I would say that everything here was simply timelessly elegant. The lobby was grand, service was impeccable, rooms were larger than many hotels in this part of the world – it pretty much has it all!

I cannot remember the last hotel that I have stayed in that has not one, but two, Executive Lounges! This hotel has one on the 19th floor and another on the 21st floor, both almost identical in decor, service and food presentation.
