Stop Expecting Your Luggage To Be Treated With Care

Date:

No. They do not care. Baggage handlers do not treat your bags with respect and more often than not, your bags are at their mercy. They throw, stand, kick – whatever you can think of in order to get your bags to the carousel as quickly as they can so you can collect them right after you have cleared immigration.

So when you travel, get a sturdy bag. And if you have fragile items, remember to secure and protect them. Do not expect that they will be nice to your bags even if you had a ‘FRAGILE’ sticker on it. Just don’t.
